Design · Analysis · Build
Most people arrive with a problem rather than a design. A machine that keeps breaking in the same place, a job no off-the-shelf unit does properly, an idea that exists only as a sketch on the back of an invoice.
Inventra turns those into something that can be built, costed and relied on.
Implements and industrial equipment designed from first principles, from a sketch through to a proven machine. Frames, linkages, hydraulics, transport geometry and the engineering behind them, with prototypes and instrumented testing where the answer isn't known yet.
Sensors through to actuators. PLC and controller logic, hydraulic and electric control, remote monitoring, and operator interfaces built for gloved hands and dusty cabs.
Mechanical engineering, CAD and drafting, structural and fatigue analysis, PLC and software, telematics and project management — all in-house.
Each stage is priced on what the one before it worked out, so you know the cost before you spend it. You can stop at any gate.
General arrangement, key dimensions, loads and weights. Enough to know whether the idea works, and what the rest will cost.
The full model, with engineering checks against Australian Standards. Materials, sections and connections sized rather than guessed.
Drawings a workshop can cut and weld from without ringing you every morning. Weldments, bills of material, tolerances that matter.
Built in our own workshop, or by a fabricator we manage. Or stop at Stage 03, take the drawings and build it yourself.
First build, first season. What to measure, what to change, and the revisions that follow from real use.
If the numbers say it won't work, you've found out for the price of a concept — before anyone cuts steel. The case for Stage 01
Hunter Lloyd, director and lead engineer, came to the profession through the workshop. Trade-qualified before the degree, which means the design comes from someone who has had to pull a machine apart as well as put one together.
The work before Inventra was grain handling, seeding and tillage equipment, and control systems on irrigation infrastructure — product development, design and PLC work for Australian manufacturers. The same gear this business is built around.
Stormwater pipe, Diamond Grid permeable paving and SenseMyFarm remote monitoring — stocked at East Wagga and supported under our trading name, for farms, subdivisions, civil contractors and industrial sites across the Riverina.
A sketch, a photo of the broken part, or a paragraph describing what the machine needs to do. That's enough to have a useful first conversation.
